Brand Finance Global 500 Report 2026: Amid constant change and economic volatility, the combined brand value of the world’s leading brands climbed to $10.4 trillion in 2026, marking an 11 per cent increase from 2025, according to Brand Finance’s latest Global 500 report released Tuesday.
American technology brands hold seven positions in the top 10, with the top four, Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, retaining their positions, each recording an increase in brand value this year.
The AI chipmaker saw its brand value increase by 110 per cent to $184.3 billion, and surpassed established brands such as Walmart, Samsung, and Facebook.
Although these three brands saw a slight increase in value, they dropped in the rankings this year.
TikTok, or Douyin, moved up one position to 7th place, with its brand value increasing by 45 per cent to $153.5 billion, driven primarily by global expansion and strong user engagement across markets.
While South Korean brand Samsung Group grew by 8 per cent to $119.2 billion, China’s State Grid Corporation rose 16 per cent to $99.1 billion.
