Heres a bunch of Seniors who go back to college after 14 years 8230;

Padmanabhan alias Pappu,Rex Immanuel alias Rex,Philip Idicula alias Idicula and Rasheed Munna alias Munna are no longer the college-going youngsters that they were 14 years ago. But they are back to college. Some people who had studied with them are there in the college,but of course not as students. The younger students have problems with these seniors. Its from here that the story of the Vyshakh-directed Seniors takes off.

Vyshakh,who had made a very successful directorial debut with the Mammootty-Prithviraj-Shriya Saran-starrer blockbuster Pokkiri Raja earlier this year,gets ready to hit back next summer with Seniors. This time,its Jayaram,Kunchacko Boban,Biju Menon and Manoj.K.Jayan who play the key roles in his film.

Its an out-and-out fun film that has all those ingredients that would entertain you. A full-fledged colourful entertainer,thats what Seniors is,says Vyshakh.

Idicula Biju Menon is a rich planter; Munna Manoj.K.Jayan runs a fancy store along with his wife and Rex Kunchacko Boban is an artist. As for Pappu Jayaram,what he is and what he does is unraveled in the course of the movie. They had been the best of buddies ever since their college days and now they are back in college,together,to study. Their old friends work there; one is a lecturer Padmapriya and another a laboratory attendant Suraaj Venjaramoodu. Their comeback to college triggers off a series of interesting happenings.

Padmapriya,Ananya,Meera Nandan and Radha Varma are the leading ladies. Also in the cast are Jagathy Sreekumar,Siddique,Suraaj Venjaramoodu and Vijayaraghavan.

Vyshakh,who had earlier worked with hit-making directors Johnny Antony and Joshiy had based his debut film on a story and script penned by Sibi.K.Thomas and Udayakrishna,who had penned many popular hits,including the multi-starrer Twenty-20. Now,for his second film,Vyshakh has sought the services of yet another popular duo. Sachi and Sethu,who made an impressive beginning with Chocolate and who also scripted Robin Hood,write the story and script for Seniors.

When asked what made him choose the duo,Vyshakh says,Pokkiri Raja was the result of the friendship that I had developed with the Sibi-Udayakrishna duo over the course of years. As for Sachi and Sethu,I had worked with them in Robin Hood. They are talented and every element,every scene that they bring in has freshness in it. That will be a highlight for Seniors too.

Seniors is produced under the banner of Vyshakha Movies. Shaji is the cinematographer while Joseph Nellickal does the art-work and Mahesh Narayanan the editing. Lyrics are by Vayalar Sharath Chandra Varma,Anil Panachooran and Santhosh Varma while the music composers are Alex Paul,Alphonse and Jassie Gift.

Following the completion of its first shooting schedule,the next will be in February. The film will be released during Vishu April next year.
