RSS,VHP welcome HCs refusal to defer Ayodhya title suits verdict

Though they have consistently maintained that courts cannot resolve the Ayodhya issue as it was a matter of faith,both the RSS and the VHP Friday endorsed the Allahabad High Courts refusal to defer the judgment on the title suits.

The court has done the right thing. It the plea was an unnecessary attempt to delay the verdict, RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav said.

The VHP said the petition was an attempt to betray the society and the system. It was a bid to create obstacles in the judicial process8230;, said VHP spokesperson Prakash Sharma.

While the BJP has been silent on its plans to deal with the fallout of the verdict and the RSS has spoken about options like taking legal recourse,the VHP and the sants in its fold are being pushed to the forefront to take the lead in raising the Ram Temple slogan,post-verdict.

The RSS and VHP leaders had held closed-door discussions in the last two days to work out a strategy,with some senior BJP leaders also attending the talks.
