RComm redeems 500 mn convertible bonds

Reliance Communications has redeemed 500 mn worth zero-coupon foreign currency convertible bonds issued in May 2006.

Reliance Communications,India8217;s second-biggest mobile carrier by subscribers,said on Tuesday it has redeemed 500 million worth zero-coupon foreign currency convertible bonds issued in May 2006.

Reliance Comm said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange that it had made the payments on May 9,which was the due date for redemption.
