RCom adds 2 mn subscribers in Sept

Anil Ambani group company Reliance Communications RCom said it has added two million wireless subscribers in September this year,taking its total customer base to over 117 million.

The company added two million wireless subscribers on its GSM and CDMA platforms in the month of September,RCom said in a statement. It offers services on both the platforms.

The company has added 6.52 million new wireless customers during the July-September quarter.

According to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India,in August 18.18 million new users were added,taking the total wireless subscribers in the country to 670.60 million. Trai is yet to release the overall September figures.
