Rascals to release on Dassera

Katrina Kaif will be paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan for the first time ever in a YRF film that also has Anushka Sharma starring in it. Yash Chopra will be directing the film that is yet to be titled. It will have music by A. R. Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar. The film is scheduled for a Diwali 2012 release.

Shabana Azmi8217;s next is On The Ramp

Shabana Azmi has started shooting for her next film,On The Ramp. The actress will play mentor to Ranvir Shorey,who essays the role of an aspiring model in the film. The movies first schedule has already been shot in Delhi. Its second schedule will now be in mid-August in Mumbai. There is also a schedule in Paris. On The Ramp also stars Urvashi Sharma and marks the directorial debut of Imran Khalid.

Mugdha Godse goes glam for Afra Tafree

Come July 5,Mugdha Godse will fly to Bangkok to shoot for her new film,Afra Tafree. The model-turned-actress will be playing a beauty queen in the comedy,which will be directed by Hadi Ali Abrar,who has earlier directed Rama-The Saviour. The movie is about friends travelling together and is a laugh-riot. I play a stylish and glamorous beauty queen, said Mugdha,adding that Govinda,Suneil Shetty and Aarya Babbar are her co-stars.

Hum Tum Aur Shabana in September

Director Sagar Ballarys next film Hum Tum Aur Shabana,a comedy roller-coaster,is all set to release on September 23. The film stars Tusshar Kapoor,Shreyas Talpade,Minissha Lamba,Satish Kaushik and Sanjay Mishra. Model and ex-VJ Pia Trivedi also makes her debut with the film that has music by Sachin- Jigar.

Prabhat Chitra Mandal recently organised a four-day Australian Film Festival in Mumbai. The festival opened with Bill Bennetts Spider and Rose and showcased the filmmakers six best works till date. Eight feature films and one short film were screened on June 21,22,23 and 27. Delhi Belly gets 8216;A8217; certificate

Delhi Belly,which is all set for release on July 1,has now been cleared by the Censor Board with an 8216;A8217; certificate. The Censor has cleared the film without any cuts. Aamir Khan had always maintained that the content of Delhi Belly is strictly for Adults Only.

Salman wants Chillar Party to be tax free

Salman Khan is trying his best to make his children film Chillar Party tax free so that it is watched by everyone.

The actor was in Delhi for a special screening of the movie for Information and Broadcasting Minister,Ambika Soni.

I hope that the movie is made tax free as I want everyone to watch it. It should be affordable for every family and they shouldn8217;t have to think twice before watching the movie, Salman said. After watching the movie,Soni said,I will definitely talk to other ministers,so that we can make the movie tax free but,I,alone can8217;t take any decision.

Indra Kumar ready to roll Total Dhamaal and Masti 2

Punch drunk about the opening collections of his latest film Double Dhamaal,producer-director Indra Kumar is planning a huge success party for the entire cast and crew of the film. Returning from an award show in Toronto,Kumar said he was impressed with the impact his film had in Canada,India and the rest of the world. Speaking about his future plans,Kumar announced,Although too early to discuss any details,I am going to begin work on the sequel of Double Dhamaal called Total Dhamaal as well as Masti 2.
