Former CM Rabri Devi would be RJD candidate for the election to Bihar Legislative Council later this month.

Former CM Rabri Devi would be RJD candidate for the election to Bihar Legislative Council later this month.

Rabri Devi had lost from both Raghopur and Sonepur in the 2010 Assembly polls. She was the leader of Opposition in last Assembly and after her defeat,she was succeeded by A B Siddiquei. RJD can get single seat in the Legislative Council.

The JDU and BJP are likely to field six and four candidates respectively. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi will seek re-election to the Upper House.
