Two days after the JDU got a drubbing in the Maharajganj bypoll,Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday stuck to his development plank.
Speaking at Uda Kishanganj during his Sewa Yatra in the Kosi region,Kumar reiterated his demand for special status. Dilli me wahi raaj karega jo Bihariyon ke hit ki baat karega those who will safeguard interest of Bihar will rule at Centre, Kumar said without naming RJD chief Lalu Prasad. He also did not respond to BJP general secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudys statement that the JDU needing Narendra Modi as much as the BJP.
Kumar told local reporters that the NDA coalition was as strong as ever and one must not read too much into it.
