MP Congress MLA in sleaze CD spares Oppn,blames party rival

While accusing Vishal Patel of being the brain behind the CD,he said he had not taken up the matter with the state Congress yet. He broke down while addressing a press conference in Indore Wednesday in the presence of his 23-year-old son.

Vishal Patel denied the allegation saying he was ready for any probe. Congress vice-president Rameshwar Nikhra said the party was yet to take a stand and waiting for the CD to be verified.

The legislator said he first heard about the clip more than five days ago and he himself volunteered to give a copy of the CD to Union Minister of State for Home Jitendra Singh for examination by visiting Delhi. He had lost the last Lok Sabha election to BJPs Sumitra Mahajan by a slender margin.

Incidentally,another CD that caused the exit of former finance minister Raghavji was also an inside job. A BJP leader,Shivshankar Pateria,had owned up the CD,saying he had supplied paraphernalia needed to make the CD involving the former BJP minister with a male aide.
