On the other end of the National Capital Region,2 BHK flats of an area of 929 square feet can be found in Valley View Estate,Gurgaon. A plot of 66 square yards would be available at this rate in Palam Vihar and Sushantlok. An old construction on a 108 square yard plot in Sector 46 of Gurgaon would also be available. Faridabad offers a 160 square yard plot in Sector 49 of Sainik Colony. IN Bindapur of Dwarka,a 1 BHK ground floor flat is available at this rate,under the extendable housing scheme.

“There are some good,ready-to-move homes that can be acquired at this rate,primarily 2 BHK options,” said Pradeep Mishra,broker with Sainik Estates. Within Delhi,a 2 BHK LIG flat in Kalkaji and Pitampura can be bought at this price. 2 BHK apartments are also available in Sector 11 and Sector 28 of Rohini. One can also get a 2 BHK builder floor in Tilak Nagar.

Chandigarh

While limited options in Chandigarh are available within the budget of Rs 35 lakhs,one can find various options in Panchkula and Mohali as well as on the outskirts of the tri-city like Kharar,Zirakpur and Dera Bassi. Where a reasonably decent flat by an approved developer can be bought on the outskirts,only a small plot or a floor in the developing areas of the tri-city is available.

Within the budget of Rs 35 lakh in Chandigarh very limited options are available. Floors can be bought in some of the sectors like Sector 20,22,23 and 30. A five marla first and second floor house is available in around Rs 35 lakhs. If one has options open for flats too,a MIG flat is available which starts from this budget. The two-bedroom flat with drawing and dining are in Sectors 44 C and D.
