Modis parallel diplomacy

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is not known to miss any opportunity. So,when Japanese premier Yukio Hatoyama visited India,Modi,who had not scheduled a meeting with him in advance,accompanied CIIs former president Rajesh Shah when he went to meet the visiting premier. A few months back,Modi had showcased vibrant Gujarat to about 35 envoys of different countries. And recently,while the climate summit was on in Copenhagen,Modi held his own meeting in the Rann of Kutch.
