Naxals on Saturday morning shot dead six and abducted 12 in the Maoist-infested Dharhara belt of Munger district in Bihar. The incident occurred at around 5 am when, according to Kareli residents, about 25 Maoists in CRPF uniform armed with AK-47 rifles and other sophisticated weapons stormed the village about 200 km from Patna and opened fire, killing six,ADGP (Headquarters) Rajbardhan Sharma said.

Ashok Koda, husband of Sulo Devi, said: As my wife has been working for the development of the area, they first came looking for me. They were in police uniform but I doubted their identity and did not come out of my house. Soon, they started firing bullets at my house.
Marniya Devi, mother of Congress Koda, said: They first started abusing us for working with the government and later took out my son from house after waking him at gunpoint. He was killed in front of my family.
