Mahindra8217;s two-wheeler sales jump 8

Auto maker Mahindra amp; Mahindra today reported 8 per cent jump in its two-wheeler sales at 13,012 units in July,2011.

The cumulative sales for the April-July period stood at 45,288 units as against 39,291 units in the corresponding period last year,up 15 per cent,Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd said in a statement.

8220;We are witnessing higher growth momentum on the back of increasing consumer preference for our scooter brands in many key markets across the country,8221; Mahindra amp; Mahindra President Two Wheeler Sector Anoop Mathur said.

The company sells scooters Rodeo and Duro in India.
