Madan Mohan remembered

The Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar recently hosted a concert of songs by late composer Madan Mohan. Titled The Eternal Madan Mohan,the event was presented by Rajesh Subramanian of Musicolor at the Jyoti Niwas College Auditorium,Bengaluru along with music arranger Ajay Madan and his team of 11 talented musicians. Singers Gaurav Bangia,Divya Raghavan,Rithisha and Yasin rendered some immortal songs of the late composers like Baiyan na dharo,Nainon mein badra chhaye,Tum jo mil gaye ho,Zameen se humen aasmaan par,Yeh duniya yeh mehfil,Phir wohi shaam,Kaun aaya mere manke dwaare,and many others. The show was compered by Vasudha. There was a quiz on Madanjis repertoire for the audience and special DVDs of the composers were given to the winners. Madanjis sons,Sanjeev and Sameer Kohli were present on the occasion.
