LG recognised for its energy efficient TVs

LG 47 inch LED backlit LCD prototype TV was winner in global emerging technology category.

The Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment SEAD awarded LG with its global efficiency medals for manufacturing the most energy efficient TVs.

The SEAD initiative promotes the production and sale of super-efficient products in different regions.

LG8217;s 47LM670S model was awarded the most energy efficient television in large 42 inch and above category and LG 47 inch LED backlit LCD prototype TV was the winner in global emerging technology category.

8221;SEAD recognition is particularly special because it recognises advancements in energy efficiency. The company will take the lead in expanding the high energy-efficient TV market by continuing the development of new technologies,8221; said Hyun Woo Lee,Director-Home Entertainment,LG India.

LG 47-inch backlit LCD prototype TV will be commercially available worldwide within the next 2 years.
