Ragini MMS was shot with six cameras,a first for any film.

Generally a feature film is shot with one,two or a maximum three cameras, but debutant director Pavan Kriplani shot Ragini MMS with six. Interestingly, the footage collected on these six cameras is enough to make six feature films!

The horror film, which has only two actors,Rajkumar Yadav and Kanaz Motiwala, was shot over 17 days in Dhanu.

The cameras were hidden so that they did not catch each other in the frame and the main challenge was to get the six different cameras formatted alike in terms of the contrast value, colour renditions etc. and to ensure organic unity, informs the first-time director.

According to Pavan, the story of the film was being told through a camera like in the Bigg Boss house with cameras everywhere hence the usage of several cams. Shot in a record-breaking 20 days, there is so much footage that the editors are working 24/7 on the post production.
