Nikon D3200

Nikon launched its latest digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera Nikon D3200. The camera has a 24.2-megapixel sensor and can shoot HD videos. The D3200 has an extremely portable,compact and lightweight body. Users can also wirelessly click pictures using Android-based devices. It has an ISO range of 100 to 6,400,which should allow clicking good pictures in low light. It also offers two lens kits (18-55 mm &18-105 mm) at additional cost.

Intel Ivy Bridge Ultrabooks

Intel,along with several original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) announced the launch of third-generation ultrabooks powered by the new Ivy Bridge range of processors. Apart from usual performance improvements,the new range of ultrabooks will have anti-theft features. Once these are activated,you can log on to a website and disable your ultrabook if you lose it. The ultrabook will display your phone number on the screen. So dont miss a call if you lose this book. Intel is also working with its partners to deliver thin and light designs in ultrabooks.

Hoppr

Hoppr is a new SMS-based check-in service. The service is similar to Foursquare,except that it works using text messages. Hoppr offers its users discounts in select stores. Just look for Hoppr stickers in store outlets mentioned at http://www.hoppr.com,send a text and get a discount code. The good news is that those on bulk SMS packs will not be charged for texts used to access Hoppr. The service will initially cover over 3,000 retail outlets/locations in New Delhi (not NCR),Mumbai,Kolkata and Bengaluru. An Android application is in the works too.

Mozilla Firefox 13

Mozilla has just launched the 13th version of its web browser Firefox. The default home page now features one-click shortcuts for bookmarks,history,settings,add-ons,downloads and sync preferences. On opening a new tab,users will see Chrome-like thumbnails of frequently visited webpages. The company claims to have made the browser faster and reduced its memory usage as well. Apart from these improvements,the latest version has strengthened security features,which reduces loading time on secure web pages.
