Islamabad: Security agencies in Pakistan have cordoned off the Supreme Court building and the adjacent house of President Asif Ali Zardari after a bomb threat letter was found. The letter,spotted by a cameraman of a private TV channel at the car parking said the court complex and Presidents house,which are next to each other,would be bombed on 26th or 27th August,the Dawn reported.

Iran reiterates support for Assad

TEHRAN: Irans foreign minister reiterated Irans support for Syria while saying President Bashar Assad should answer the legitimate demands of his people. Ali Akbar Salehis statement was the first since Iran named a new ambassador to Syria. The semi-official ISNA news agency quoted Salehi as saying a political vacuum in Syria would lead to an unprecedented crisis,and blaming protests and killings on outside agitators.
