Washington: Details of communication between al-Qaeda leaders derived from Osama bin Ladens computers indicate that the terror network is facing a massive financial crunch and difficulties in replacing cadres lost in combat with US-led coalition forces in Afghanistan,Pakistan and other places,The Washington Post reported Saturday. Tibetan writer jailed for 4 yrs in China

BEIJING: An activist group said a Tibetan writer has been sentenced to four years in prison in southwestern China for his writings about the unrest and crackdown in Tibet. The US-based International Campaign for Tibet reported on Friday that Tashi Rabten,an editor for the banned literary magazine Eastern Snow Mountain,was sentenced June 2 by the Aba Intermediate Peoples Court in Sichuan province to four years in jail.
