Internet browsing has emerged as the No 1 habit for consumers using Net on their mobile handsets,followed by e-mail and chat,according to a Nielsen study,commissioned by Nokia.
8220;Nokia has emerged as the most preferred brand for 8216;Internet experience8217; among consumers in the sub Rs 6,000 handset price category across eight Indian cities,8221; Nokia said in a release here today.
Speaking about the consumers8217; internet usage preferences and frequency on their mobile handset,it said that Internet browsing and not Email or chatting or social networking was the No 1 habit for consumers using Internet.
8220;Good Internet speed defines good overall internet experience on the mobile when it comes to browsing,emailing and chat and social networking,8221; Nokia said.
The company said internet had emerged as the top consideration,set in 2011,for consumers while making a handset purchase decision in the sub Rs 6,000 price category.
