Infrastructure output up 7.2 pct in March

India8217;s infrastructure sector output grew 7.2 per cent in March from a year earlier,higher than an upwardly revised annual growth of 4.7 per cent in February,government data showed on Tuesday.

During the 2009/10 fiscal year April-March,core sector output rose 5.5 per cent from 3.0 per cent a year ago.

The infrastructure sector accounts for 26.7 per cent of India8217;s industrial output.
