Indian Rupee starts rolling

The Ranjith-directed Indian Rupee will go on the floors in Kozhikode. Produced jointly under the banner of Capitol Theatres and August Cinema by Ranjith and Prithviraj,the film stars Prithviraj in the lead. Suresh Gopi plays a key role in the film while Amala Paul plays the female lead. Amala was earlier seen in a cameo in Neelathamara and also acted in Ithu Nammude Katha. Written by Ranjith himself,Indian Rupee is an action film. Nedumudi Venu,Innocent and veteran Thilakan comprise the rest of the cast. The cinematography will be by S. Kumar while Shahbaz Aman will compose the music.
