HC quashes FIR against Radadia

The Gujarat High Court on Monday quashed an FIR lodged against BJP MLA Vitthal Radadia. The FIR had been lodged against him for brandishing a gun at a toll booth and threatening its employees in October,2012. He was then a Congress parliamentarian from Porbandar and the BJP had created a stir following the incident. P M Thakkar,advocate for Radadia,said that the complainant through a lawyer had told the court that if the FIR is quashed he would not have any problem. According to Thakkar,Radadia had told the court that the gun which he pull out at the toll booth was not an illegal one and he had been carrying it for the past 30 years with licence.
