Havell profit up 31 pct

Havells India Ltd,the electrical and power distribution equipment manufacturer,has announced that the companys PAT increased by 31 to Rs.64.40 crores in the 4th quarter of 2009-2010 as against Rs.48.80 crores reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The net revenue during the present quarter increased by 22 to Rs 700.15 crores as against Rs 573.62 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The EBIDTA increased by 31 to Rs 86.70 crores.

The performance of the switchgear sales showed a growth of 17 while the cable amp; wire business segment grew by 9 during the quarter. The lighting and fixtures segment grew by 60.
