At first,this was meant to be only one film,but due to the size of the book,and the decision that nothing could be left out,the producers decided to split it into two parts: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will release in 2011.

In Part 1,Harry,Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemorts immortalitythe Horcruxes. Harrys only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him.

But as he searches for clues,he uncovers an old and almost forgotten talethe legend of the Deathly Hallows.

David Yates says: I had to find a way of somehow keeping all the things I want to do,so I thought it will be easy to split it across two films.

Steve Kloves,who was working on the adaptation of the film as we were shooting Half-Blood Prince,rounded us up and said,Look guys I am having a real problem stuffing this story into two-and-a-half hours. I think narratively this might suit two parts. And that was it.

Despite having stated that she would not be returning as Professor Sybil Trelawney for this film,it has been reported that Emma Thompson recently finished two days of filming as the character.
