A delegation of Gujarat Congress MLAs will call on President Pratibha Patil on Tuesday to demand a probe into the Rs 26,651-crore alleged corruption under the Narendra Modi government as pointed out in the CAG report. State party spokesperson Jayantilal Parmar said the leaders led by Arjun Modhwadia,Shaktisinh Gohil and Shankersinh Vaghela would also complain about unnecessary and long delay in appointments in the constitutionally autonomous bodies and other institutions. Parmar said the Assembly had been without a deputy speaker ever since Modi took over as Chief Minister. This was because the deputy speaker,as per the tradition, was appointed from the opposition party.
