Ashnoor Kaur,the cute girl who plays Prachi in Jhansi Ki Rani,is slated to meet with a gruesome death on the show as the cruel Marshall conspires to assassinate Manu but his plan backfires and Prachi dies instead. The bubbly girl who had the entire unit eating out of her palms will be missing from the show. Sameer Dharmadhikari ,who plays King Gangadhar Rao was a little melancholic as he said,Recently,as a part of the plot,I gifted Prachi a beautiful doll that she cannot let go. She plays with her all day long,even takes the doll home after pack-up. She has girly conversations with the doll. The death sequence of Prachi will feature the doll burning after the blast. While baby Ashnoor will sorely miss her prized doll,well deeply miss her and all her cute antics on the sets as her track comes to an end.

A good negative turn
Shivani Gossain,who has done small roles in serials like Kasautii Zindagi Kay,Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii,Kumkum,Kesar and Mitwa has finally got a meaty character,albeit a negative one,in Rang Badalti Odhni aired on Star One. I was waiting to do a negative role because when you play a good girl,there are limitations. Either you play the lead or you get completely lost in the maze of actors, she philosophises. So,even though her role as Sindoori in Mitwa was strong,she did not stand out. However,that has changed completely with Rang Badali8230; As the greedy Hetalba,Shivani is gaining recognition. Shes so bad that she steals ornaments even from dead bodies, says Shivani with a disbelief. Hetalba is obsessed with her beauty and all she can think of is ornaments, informs the actress who is breaking all boundaries of heartlessness and rudeness in the show,something which I can never think of in real life. With shades of comedy added to her character,Shivani is having a blast doing the role and what makes her even more happy are the kind of strong negative roles that are being offered to her post- Rang8230;

Hot Tub Time Machine on PIX
PIX has acquired the rights to screen the latest Hollywood film Hot Tub Time Machine,which will be aired on the channel later this year. The channel had hosted the Indian premiere last week. Says Sunder Aaron,PIX Business Head,If you loved the cheesy humour in Hangover then,be sure to love the slapstick quick witty humour in Hot Tub Time Machine! Early this year,the channel has acquired This Is It,a documentary on Michael Jackson,which will soon air on the channel. Last year,they had aired the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire. Hot Tub Time Machine starring Rob Corddry,Craig Robinson and John Cusack is touted to be one of the biggest comedy hits this year.
