Endemol India,producers of hit television content such as Bigg Boss,Fear Factor,Deal Or No Deal and many more,has announced key leadership appointments across verticals. As part of the new structure,Abhishek Rege has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer 8211; Television,where he will be seen overlooking strategic operations specific to the production of new shows for television across the country. Doris Dey comes on board as the Fiction Head. She will be responsible for driving the fiction properties and concepts that will best engage and entertain the viewers. Based out of Mumbai,they will be seen playing pertinent roles in providing seamless operational and strategic inputs across the company.
Commenting on the new appointments,Deepak Dhar,CEO 8211; Endemol India,said,The last one year has been very exciting for Endemol India. As we move into our next phase of growth,its critical to have a structure that supports our ambitions and fuels expansion.
Prior to his appointment at Endemol India,Abhishek Rege was associated with Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd. overlooking their business operations for the USA while shows like Bade Achche Lagte Hai,Kya Hua Tera Waada,Parichay and Pavitra Rishta amongst many others have been scripted by Doris Dey and launched under her creative direction.
Zubin Driver quits Network18
Zubin Driver,CEO,Cell 18 and Group Creative Director,Network 18,has quit the company to pursue his interest in theatre and arts. Being the Creative Director of Network18 for the last 10 years,Zubin played an instrumental role in setting up amp; running the promo teams for multiple channels including History TV18,CNBC TV18,CNBC Awaaz,CNN-IBN,IBN 7 and IBN Lokmat.
Zubin has also played a key role in formulating Cell 18 which began its operations in January 2008. Cell 18 is the largest creative production house of India and Pamp;L unit of Network 18 Group. Confirming his move, Driver said,I want to quit when I am at the top of my game. It has indeed been a great journey here with the team at Network 18 group and my best wishes go to all my colleagues at Network 18.
