Elevating Modi BJPs internal matter: Sharad

What the BJP decides is its internal matter, Sharad Yadav said over the telephone from Chennai. He said,Whom do they make the party president or the chairman of a particular committee in their party is entirely their concern8230;He Modi has not become NDAs campaign committee chairman. While indicating that the JDU continued to have its reservations about the Gujarat Chief Minister,Yadav pointed out that the opposition alliance had for the last 17 years followed its own national agenda.

Regarding the leadership issue,Yadav said the NDA candidate for the prime ministership will be decided by the NDA after BJP declares its nominee.

Sena leader in the Rajya Sabha Sanjay Raut told The Indian Express,If the BJP has taken the decision to make Modi the chairman of its election campaign committee,we welcome it.

Calling it a knock-out punch for UPA II,Punjab CM and Shiromani Akali Dal patriarch Parkash Singh Badal described Modis appointment as the chairman of BJPs election campaign committee as a masterstroke.

Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal too welcomed the BJPs decision,saying the announcement would mark the beginning of decimation of corrupt,inefficient and insensitive UPA II government at the Centre.
