Disappointed at PMs refusal to depose

BJP leader and member of the JPC on 2G spectrum allocation issue Yashwant Sinha on Monday expressed his surprise and disappointment

BJP leader and member of the JPC on 2G spectrum allocation issue Yashwant Sinha on Monday expressed his surprise and disappointment over the Prime Ministers reasoning for not offering to appear before the JPC.

In a letter to Manmohan Singh,Sinha sought to punch holes in the PMs reasoning saying that if the JPC were to come to conclusions only on the basis of records and documents then clearly it has wasted its time by calling so many witnesses to depose before it. He reminded the PM about his offer to appear before the PAC and wondered if you were right in making that offer, how can you not be wrong in not making that offer to the JPC?

I am,to say the least, surprised and disappointed by your response, Sinha wrote to the PM.
