CSC celebrates 8216;take daughters,sons to work day8217;a

The employees of CSC and their children participated in the 'Take Our Daughters amp; Sons To Work Day' celebration across India.

The employees of CSC,a global leader in technology-enabled solutions and services,along with their children participated in the 8216;Take Our Daughters amp; Sons To Work Day8217; celebration across India. This years theme,8217;1 Youth,1 Dream,2Morrow8217;s Leader, supports informal educational programs that empower children to learn and develop so they can reach their full potential.

Over 1,000 children between the age of 6 and 18 years participated in this event this year,an increase of more than double from last year.

Talking to expressindia.com,Sneha Roy,8,said the programme is 8216;absolutely amazing8217;. Her father Ashish,a senior manager in CSC,said 8216;this initiative will make us bond better with our children.8217;

The program is dedicated to helping children explore their future opportunities at work,at home and in their community. A day at work helps children discover the link between what they do now in school and what they can become in the future.

The program provided hands-on exposure to children about their parents daily work interactions.

The program is aimed at helping children understand the value of education.
