A CRPF jawan,deployed on election duty in a Rohtas village in Bihar shot dead an assistant commandant on Saturday morning. The jawan,Rahul Kumar,now arrested,was reportedly peeved at his leave not getting sanctioned.
Rohtas Superintendent of Police Vikas Vaibhav said the incident took place when Kumar had a tiff with Sub-Inspector R N Pandey for using the latters blanket. After a heated argument,Kumar,shot dead SI RN Pandey,with his AK-47. When assistant commandant Rohit Diwan tried to intervene,he was also shot dead by Kumar.
A CRPF commandant told The Sunday Express,The constable who had some family problems wanted to go home. Kumar will now have to face a court of inquiry.
