Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal briefed the BJP national executive about the partys poll preparations in their states. The Gujarat unit will revive its old slogan sabka saath,sabka vikas and highlight the alleged step-motherly treatment by the Centre. Modi was learnt to have told the national executive that the Congress has delegated its fight to the CBI.
BSY stays away
Former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa,who has been nursing a grudge against the partys central leadership,skipped the national executive meeting on Wednesday. Sources said he is unlikely to show up in the coming two days also. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj also could not attend the meeting as she was unwell. Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje was also absent.
