The RS election for two seats in Jharkhand is slated for May 3.

The RS election for two seats in Jharkhand is slated for May 3. The last date for filing nomination is April 23.

JVM secretary Praveen Singh, who was a candidate in the countermanded RS polls, and its legislature party leader Pradeep Yadav have accused Congresss state incharge Shakeel Ahmads of asking Singh to support his partys candidate and get three posts in Central PSUs in return. We are against any such deal, said Yadav. Ahmad has denied having talked to JVM leaders. I havent talked to them, he said.

The Congress has been pitching for state president Pradeep Balmuchu. JVM wants one from its list of 12.
