Which is your favourite comedy?
Biwi-O-Biwi! I could watch the camaraderie between Randhir Kapoor and Sanjeev Kumar again and again.

Which comic scene always brings a smile on your lips?
The honeymoon sequence between Salman Khan and Lara Dutta in Partner. It was five minutes of riot.

Which actor according to you excels at comedies?
Im working with Arshad Warsi in two comedies,Double Dhamaal and F.A.L.T.U. His mind is always ticking on how to improvise his scenes. He’s fantastic. I also find Akshay Kumar very spontaneous in comic scenes.

How do you select your films?
The script and director,in that order. But if the subject and director are new,then I make sure that there is a good producer to balance it.

Which director is on your wish-list?
I may be inclined towards comedies,but I would like to work with serious filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap and Dibaker Banerjee. Their innovative scripts intrigue me.

How do you look back at Aladin that failed to touch a chord with the audience?
It was a very special film,but I guess we went wrong somewhere along the way. But I have faith in Sujoy Ghosh as a director. Hes very passionate about his work.

Are you content with your career today?
I was content with life when I was not doing anything,Im content now. Im always happy. I only strive to be a better human being.

How involved are you with your architectural concern?
Last year I spent a lot of time creating designs for my company. My main focus is office interiors.

Which recent film has impressed you?
Vikramaditya Motwanes Udaan. Hes unbelievable as a director,and I thought Ronit Roy was excellent in the film.
