Although neither the PCC Haryana nor AICC has received your resignation till now, public announcement of resignation from the party is a serious issue8230; I would request you to clarify your position preferably before October 7. If there is no response from you by October 7,it will be confirmed that you stand by your announcement and you have resigned from Congress party, said the letter which the AICC released to the media.
Addressing a rally in Rewari on September 23,Rao had announced that he was quitting Congress politics and would not contest the next elections from Congress as he was upset with the existing circumstances in the party. As a precursor to his exit,he had targeted Sonia Gandhis son-in-law Robert Vadra, demanding a probe into alleged irregularities in land deals in Haryana.
