CBI accepts govt recommendation to probe murders of CO,pradhan

The CBI has accepted the UP governments recommendation to investigate the murders of Pratapgarh circle officer Zia-ul- Haque,Balipur village pradhan Nanhe Lal Yadav and his brother Suresh on March 2.

Former Minister for Food and Civil supplies in UP government Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya is accused of criminal conspiracy while two of his drivers are accused of executing the policemans murder. CM Akhilesh Yadav had announced a CBI probe into the murder cases while visiting COs family Monday evening and a letter in this regard was dispatched to the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday.

CBI spokesperson RK Gaur confirmed that the CBI has accepted to investigate the murder cases recommended by the UP government.
