Beijing: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari said he wants to take China-Pak friendship to the next level by opening the borders for citizens to travel without passports. I have a great dream that Chinese can travel to Pakistan and Pakistanis to China without passports. The future of China and Pakistan is intertwined and history is looking forward for that time,he said in an interview to Chinese state-run TV channel CCTV.

Four killed in attack on bus in Pakistan

Islamabad: At least four people were killed and several injured on Friday in Pakistans restive Kurram tribal region after unidentified gunmen sprayed a passenger bus with bullets. The bus was on its way to Satta from Baggan when it was attacked in Kakrai area,TV news channels reported,quoting officials.

Two women journalists killed in Mexico City

MEXICO CITY: Authorities are probing the murder of two women journalists,Ana Yarce and Rocio Gonzalez,whose bodies were found in a park in Mexico City on Thursday. The attorney general said the motive was unclear. Yarce was the founder of investigative magazine Contralinea,while Gonzalez had previously worked for broadcaster Televisa.

Another arrest in UK hacking scandal

LONDON: British police have arrested a 30-year-old man in the phone hacking scandal involving the News of the World tabloid. Police say the man was arrested by appointment on Friday on suspicion of conspiracy to intercept voicemail messages.
