S Korea woman strikes on top of crane for 188 days
SEOUL: It has to be one of the loneliest picket lines going a woman by herself on the top of a crane. For South Korean labour activist Kim Jin-suk top,crane No. 85 at a Busan shipyard is the spot from where she has decided to demand reversal of a local shipbuilders plans to lay off 400 employees. She has already been on top of the 35-metre crane for 188 days.
