SPOKANE:Authorities searched a downtown Spokane apartment Saturday,investigating the recent discovery of a pair of letters containing the deadly poison ricin. FBI agents,Spokane police and US Postal Service inspectors descended on the three-story apartment building Saturday morning and the investigation continued into the afternoon.

Kuwait deports 1200 for traffic offences
Kuwait City:Kuwait has deported hundreds of expats for traffic offences in the past month,a report said Sunday,drawing condemnation from a human rights group. The Al-Anbaa newspaper cited a senior interior ministry official as saying that as many as 1,258 foreigners have been deported for traffic violations since a crackdown began about a month ago.

Kabul:Taliban attacks killed 10 Afghan policemen Sunday,officials said. While Taliban fighters attacked a security check post in Muqur district of Ghazni province killing six policemen,another four were killed when a roadside bomb blew up their vehicle in Nangarhar province.
