MOSCOW: A Pakistan-trained terrorist was killed in an operation Wednesday in Daghestans capital Makhachkala. Sabitbi Amanov,a resident of Kazakhstan,was the chief explosives expert of the terrorist group active in the Caucasus, Rossiya 24 TV channel reported.

Motorcycle gunmen strafe Yemen protest

SANAA: Gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on hundreds of demonstrators camped out on Wednesday in a Yemeni port city,killing one and wounding several,an opposition activist said. Radwan al-Obisi said the protesters in Hodeida were demanding the ouster of longtime President Ali Abdullah Saleh when they were attacked by thugs hired by the ruling party.
