Gehlot off to US,state waives austerity

JAIPUR: Ahead of a 10-day US,London trip by a team led by CM Ashok Gehlot and including five of his Cabinet ministers,the Rajasthan government has relaxed austerity measures imposed in September last year following drought in the state. The lifting of ban on business class air travel means CM and his 14-member entourage will travel by same. Curbs on purchase of ACs,vehicles and mobiles have also been lifted.

New university for legal education

NEW DELHI: The HRD Ministry on Thursday decided to set up a world-class Innovation University on Legal Education on PPP basis a recommendation also made by the National Knowledge Commission. A nine-member committee would soon be set up to draw up curriculum for the proposed varsity.
