Kasab to appeal in SC: Lawyer
MUMBAI: Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab will file an appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the judgment of the Bombay High Court confirming death penalty awarded to him for his role in the 26/11 terror attacks,his counsel Farhana Shah said on Wednesday. Kasab told his lawyer,who met him in jail,that he wished to move an appeal in the apex court.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi HC on Wednesday asked the Railway Ministry to file its response on a PIL alleging bad quality of food being provided to passengers and also that it had failed to remove contractors who have been defaulters. Issuing notices to the ministry and Indian Railway Catering Tourism Corporation,the court asked the chairman of Railway Board to file the response by April 27.
