Bihar not in Rajnath list of good governance states

In a curious omission,BJP chief Rajnath Singh Saturday did not deem it fit to highlight the achievements of the Bihar government,in which the BJP is an equal partner,as he spoke about BJP-ruled states.

Rajnath listed Gujarat,MP,Chhattisgarh and Goa as examples of BJPs commitment to good governance and progress. But Bihar, whose record had been highlighted at BJPs previous conclaves, was not mentioned. BJP leaders sought to play it down, saying he also did not mention Punjab where the party is a partner in the Akali Dal government. But Bihar is different as BJP is almost an equal partner its leader Sushil Modi is deputy CM. Bihars omission is significant given CM Nitish Kumars objections to Narendra Modis projection as the BJPs PM candidate.
