Incursion by Chinese troops into Arunachal Pradesh was not a big issue,Chief Minister Nabam Tuki said Monday,pointing out that this was a routine matter known to all. Instances of Chinese troops crossing the border was a regular phenomenon,he said.
It is true that Chinese patrol parties cross the border into Arunachal. Sometimes our ITBP patrol parties also step onto the other side. This is not a big issue. It is a regular phenomenon, Tuki said.
He however said,If they Chinese troops occupy our land,then things will be definitely different.
There were reports of Chinese troops intruding into the Indian territory in Chaglagam area in Anjaw district of eastern Arunachal Pradesh last month,which were dismissed by the Army headquarters as untrue.
The CM also said there were no fixed marked points demarcating the 1,080-km long international boundary that Arunachal Pradesh shares with China.
