Apple needs 2-week time to correct 8216;unapologetic ad8217; acknowledging 8216;Samsung patent victory8217;

iPhone maker says Samsung had not copied Apple's iPad in designing its own tablets.

A British judge has criticised Apple after the tech giant claimed that it would take two weeks to change an unapologetic advert on its website about its patent lawsuit loss to Samsung.

The Court of Appeal in London has ordered Apple to replace the notice,which the court says is 8220;incorrect8221;,within 24 hours.

But the California-based company said it would take 14 days to make the change,a media report said.

The iPhone maker posted a notice on its website last week acknowledging a British court ruling that said Samsung had not copied Apple8217;s iPad in designing its own tablets.

However,the notice also referenced similar cases in Germany and the US in which Apple defeated Samsung and made reference to the judge8221;s comments in the British case that Samsung products were 8220;not as cool8221;.

According to the paper,Samsung complained that parts of the statement were untrue and incorrect and the Court of Appeal has agreed.
