Allu Arjun,whose Varudu is complete and all set for release,has already started shooting for his next film,Badrinath,directed by V.V.Vinayak. The film,produced by the actors father Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts,has already started rolling in Hyderabad. While Tamannaah plays the heroine,its Ravi Varman who is in charge of the cinematography and M.M.Keeravani scores the music for the film. Badrinath rolled off with a grand ceremony,at which mega-star Chiranjeevi,who is Allu Arjuns uncle too,gave the first clap and hit-making director S.S. Rajamouli performed the switch-on. The film will reportedly be an entertainer made at a big budget. Jayasurya getting busyJayasurya,the young Malayalam actor who does all kinds of roles,the hero,the villain,supporting roles et al,gets busier and has some very interesting projects in the pipeline. His Nallavan has him portraying characters in three different age groups. While it is almost nearing completion,Jayasurya,who began his career with entertainers,gets ready to play a different kind of role in Jihaad,to be directed by Sohannlal of Orkkuka Vallappozhum fame and produced by Thampy Antony and Prakash Bare. Another buzz about Jayasurya is that he has bagged the lead role in the next film by well-acclaimed director T.V.Chandran. He is tipped to play a double-role in the film. Amal Neerads Anwar starts rollingThe Amal Neerad-directed Anwar,which was in the news even before it started rolling,has finally commenced shoot. Anwar,which has Prithviraj donning the title role,also has Prakashraj,Mamta Mohandas and Lal in key roles and depicts a sensitive tale of our times,touching subjects like terrorism,communalism etc. Amal Neerad,who is a product of the Satyajit Raj Film and Television Institute,Kolkata and who is basically a cinematographer,had made an impressive directorial debut with Big B followed by Sagar Alias Jackie. This is the first time that Prithviraj and Amal are teaming up. Anwar features script by Amal himself,while Satheesh Kurup is in charge of the cinematography and Gopi Sundar in charge of the music. The film is produced by Raj Zachariah. Dileep-Kalabhavan Mani in SuperstarDileep and Kalabhavan Mani play the key roles in Superstar,which is directed by Sanjeev Raj. Set against the backdrop of films,the movie has Kalabhavan Mani playing a superstar named Suryakiran while Dileep plays a guy named Nandagopan,who happens to write a very interesting script on the lives of the people around him. Superstar has script penned by S.Suresh Babu,the journalist-turned-scriptwriter who made his debut with Dadasahib. Superstar also has in the cast Rambha,Muktha George,Jagathy Sreekumar,Vijayaraghavan,Salimkumar and Ashokan.
