Shares of state-run oil marketing companies and airline firms were trading lower as rising crude prices dampened investor sentiment,several dealers said. U.S. crude climbed towards 104 on Friday,supported by fears of further geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and North Africa.
At 9.49 a.m.,shares of Indian Oil Corp,Hindustan Petroleum Corp. and Bharat Petroleum Corp,Jet Airways,Kingfisher Airlines and SpiceJet were down 1-3 per cent.
