Advantage Arun Jaitley

Neither M Venkaiah Naidu or Sushma Swaraj figure in the panels that were announced to assist BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley to oversee the preparations for elections. While Naidu,as in-charge of four southern states,will be stationed mostly in South India,Sushma will be kept occupied in central India. The panels,however,establish Jaitleys pre-eminent position among the second-rung leaders in Delhi,the contours of which were drawn in the recently concluded party national executive in Nagpur.
