2G: Court asks accused to reply on CBI plea to call more witnesses

The CBI court hearing the 2G case has issued notice to all the accused to reply to a plea by the agency to call Reliance ADAG chairman Anil Ambani and his wife Tina Ambani among 17 other witnesses in the case.

In the application filed before the court of Special Judge OP Saini,the CBI claimed that the new witnesses are necessary to arrive at the truth of the transactions between Reliance,Swan Telecom,Vikata engineering and other companies. The court has asked all the accused to file their replies by July 3.
